Currently in development
School administration, from the family’s side.
School Ops gives families one place to understand and manage school life — schedules, absences, messages, forms, deadlines, permissions and tasks — across the systems their schools already use.
For integration partnersThe family-facing operational layer above school systems.
Built for action
From information to action.
Most school systems are designed around the school. Families are left to piece together what changed, what it means and what they need to do next. School Ops is designed around that job.
- Know what mattersBring schedules, changes, deadlines, messages and documents together around each child.
- Get things doneTurn information into action: report an absence, prepare a message, complete a form, respond to a request or follow up with the school.
- Share responsibilityGive parents, guardians and other authorised people the access they need across children, schools and households.
These are planned capabilities for the product currently in development.
Works with existing systems
A personal operational layer — not another school system.
Schools use different combinations of timetable systems, learning platforms, portals, email and documents. School Ops is designed to sit above that fragmentation and give families one consistent operational interface.
It can combine structured information from school platforms with messages and documents, keep the context around each child together and help the family move from “what happened?” to “what do we need to do?”
Platform names are shown as examples of systems used by schools. They do not imply an existing integration, partnership or endorsement.
Family school administration is shared work. School Ops is being designed so each authorised person can get the access they need without exposing everything to everyone.
- User-controlled connections. Families choose which supported school systems to connect.
- Role-aware access. Permissions can reflect parents, guardians and other authorised roles.
- Delegation. Responsibility can be shared when someone else is authorised to handle a task or a child’s school administration.
- Data minimisation. Use only the information needed for the family’s own school administration, with GDPR requirements built into the design.
